Employment Virtual Conference: Talent Actualized!

Employer Engagement - Creating Synergy for Tomorrow's Workforce

FCIC’s Final Employment Virtual Conference, held on May 20, 2025, was a dynamic online training event designed for rehabilitation and employment professionals, educators, employers, policymakers, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), their families, and others committed to advancing inclusive employment opportunities.

The theme, Employer Engagement – Creating Synergy for Tomorrow’s Workforce, brought together presenters from across the country who shared practical tools and resources applicable to a wide range of audiences.

As part of this initiative, we compiled a comprehensive resource guide that highlights the valuable contributions individuals with disabilities bring to the workforce. This guide includes:

  • Disability Employment Awareness Toolkit
  • Apprenticeship Toolkit

These resources are designed to support inclusive hiring practices and foster meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with I/DD.
